iCalendar
What is iCalendar ?
iCalendar is a computer file format which allows internet users to send meeting requests and tasks to other internet users, via email, or sharing files with an .ics extension. Recipients of the iCalendar data file (with supporting software, such as an email client or calendar application) can respond to the sender easily or counter propose another meeting date/time.
Why to subscribe to ECM Europe ICalendar ?
To receive ECM Europe events directly in your personal calendar application, like Microsoft Office Outlook, Google Calendar, Gnome Evolution (open source), or Apple iCal.
How to subscribe to iCalendar?
To open the iCalendar file, simply click the
calendar icon and choose the application you prefer to manage calendars.
Unfortunately Microsoft Internet Explorer doesn’t support the webcal protocol yet. We suggest you to install Mozilla Firefox, an open source browser, free, secure and always updated to new web standards. Otherwise you can download a extension for IE.
In Google Calendar, at the bottom of the left column, click ‘Other calendars > Add > Add by URL’ and copy & paste the web address webcal://ecmeurope.net/?ec3_ical in the ‘URL’ field. If necessary, edit ‘Calendar Settings’ and change the name in ‘ECM Europe’.
